What is the best color to paint my kitchen?

I have two huge bay windows and hardly any wall space but it is blue right now. I am laying light wood floors and my cabinets are a dark walnt. Any ideas on color? My countertops are whiteWhat is the best color to paint my kitchen?
of course its a matter of personal taste, but blue is probably the least likely of all colors to look good with what you have (except for the white countertops which go with any color). The best visual harmony would come from using a color in the orange/brown spectrum. since you dont have an overwhelming amount of wall space and you have tons of natural light, I'd suggest going with a bold color. Use a color with a rich, spicy, warm tone. some great choices would be: cinnamon, nutmeg, mustard, burnt sienna, rust, brick, terra cotta, coral, saffron. These colors are all bold yet subdued enough to not have a jarring effect when used with white countertops.

for something a little less spicy and more monochromatic, go with a golden tan or wheat color.

for something with good contrast go with a sage green.

trim color could be either dark brown to echo the cabinetry; or ivory white to echo the countertops. Both ivory and dark brown will work with all the above mentioned colors.

accent colors could be black, dark chocolate, olive green, or any of the warm spice colors. What is the best color to paint my kitchen?
I just did mine in a sage green. I love it. It really makes the cabinets look rich.
Whatever color you choose keep it light so that the kitchen retains a homey happy atmosphere.

Try off white, eggshell, or any light pastel color that may be your favorite. Be subtle even a light tan shade will work. Seeing you will have to live with your choice, try small areas before committing.

Sounds like a fun project, Enjoy.
You have to look at this color so you are the best one to pick it not total strangers. But, find something you own, does not have to be kitchen related, that you love the color of and work with shade variations from that starting point, until you can decide. Hardware stores have a huge selection of paint samples to help you with this. Good luck!
A great way to pick color from home is at behr.com. They have all the colors and even show them in the space. You also can pick co-ordinating trim and ceiling colors. Many of the paint brands now have this tool.
i would go with a tan color!!
There is a color called chili that might just be what you are looking for. I can almost imagine it right in Your kitchen. Check it out at your local paint store. Try doing your trim and woodwork in a pure white. It will make your kitchen pop.
Green , colour of freshness.
A Capaccino colour always looks lovely in the kitchen especially if you have stainless steel accessories. It will also tie in the two different colours of the cabinets and floor, will add contract with the countertops and is a trendy clean colour that people are using at the moment.
