We just purchased a light blue sofa and loveseat and we are trying to figure out what color to paint the room.

Any suggestions? We really want to go with something funky but not too dark.We just purchased a light blue sofa and loveseat and we are trying to figure out what color to paint the room.
Go to a store that has accent pillows and find some that have your color blue in them. Then pick one or more ot the other colors in the pillows that you like and play a room color from that. Use the accent pillows wherever, even in a corner on the floor or under a table for extra seating. We just purchased a light blue sofa and loveseat and we are trying to figure out what color to paint the room.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look fab to paint your walls ';gris'; (# 7659).

You can also take a photo of your room %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
Ok, I am completely aware you said you wanted funky. But believe me, with light blue sofas, go with beige. It will be a great neutral background that is not too dark that you can put all kinds of funky artwork and hanging sculpture(wire art). Add an armchair with a crazy pattern and some bright pillows and you have a funky, but not too overwhelming, room. If you go with bright orange or red, you will walk in and not be comfy because of all the competing color. Keep the wall color simple and accessorize with funky pillows and bright art. Believe me, this is the right thing to do. If you want to see it, go to bher.com. (the paint company)and try it out yourself.

Hope I helped!!
Find different kinds of light paint and splatter them on the walls.

Or paint each wall a different color.
