What color paint will make a room look larger? I am painting a small half bathroom.?

Whatever color you choose -- just make sure that it is a very light tone of that color. Lightness in the tone is what makes a room seem to be larger than the actual size.

I also recommend that one puts in a mirror that is also SMALL in size too. anything that takes up an entire wall seems to emphasize the SMALLNESS of the room -- so be aware of how that perception can come into being. What color paint will make a room look larger? try spring/summer colors that are in pastels...very cheery and lights up a room...I think you can log onto behr.com and take a digital of the small bathroom and for a small fee you can match colors to the walls to see which one is best...hope that helpsWhat color paint will make a room look larger? bright colors and mirrors. pale yellow maybe good for a small bathroom
To make a room actually look larger the best color is white. But if you are wanting some color then try a very very light color. Dark colors really make you have a feeling of getting closed in on. I saw a awesome idea recently in a home that was very small. The whole wall was cover with big sheets of mirrors. This really made the little room look twice as big.
any light pastel colours like creme or apple green or baby blue. baby blue is ideal if you add a little waves and fishes to a scenic wall.with air bubbles and small gold fishes painted on tiles in a state of motion
light colors and i would suggest a wall mirror! good luck!
white .. makes everything look bigger
like everone says light colors Ive just painted my small bathroon yellow its nice but my other wise white teeth look yellow in the mirrorso be careful with yellow very pale if you choose good luck
Light colors, and something you want to look at while you are not feeling your best -- like slightly drunk.

My sister moved into a house with a powder room that had a rather nice gold and black check to it. But the longer you looked at it, the more it seemed to MOVE, and go back and forth and just be weird. ICK! And that was sober!

Paint the upper walls and ceilings the same color to give the illusion of more height. And you might want to put long, vertical posters in the room as accents -- nothing square and dumpy.

Stripes may also give you more room, but again, it may give you vertigo.

If you want to try it out, ';wallpaper'; the room with old corrugated boxes, and then paint the pattern or design you like -- at least a large square of it. Try it out for a few days before you make it permanent.
