What colors can i mix to make a blue..im using acrylic paint?

cyan + magenta





Yellow + Blue gives green. Adding more yellow will not get you back to blue. In the Prang color wheel, blue is a primary, as are red and yellow. You can't get from one to the other.

Am I missing something? Blue is a primary color. You can't mix it from other colors. If you have blue already, you can change the shade by adding blue to white or black to blue. You can also mix blue with other colors to get blues that are tinted purple or green. You can't take any other pair of colors of paint and get blue.

Blue is a primary color...no two colors will make blue. Blue, yellow and red are the 3 primary colors. There are no colors to mix to make blue.

Any form of red and green...Depending on your desired intensity of blue, go with darker or lighter reds or greens..
