What is a good color to paint my room.?

im getting black and white sheets and stuff. i dont want black or white walls. i was thinking a darker teal maybeWhat is a good color to paint my room.?
Color is an extremely personal decision. I happen to love teal. The black and white sheets will pop against the dark, cool color background of the teal. Since a bedroom is supposed to be restful if you choose a ';green'; teal I think it will be more so. Remember to choose a shade you truly like. Many people are afraid of using deep colors, and may try to talk you into choosing a lighter tint. Try to envision the overall impact of the color combinations before making your decision. But, remember you can always repaint if it comes out different than you planned. What is a good color to paint my room.?
I'm not sure of the color ,But this might help.... If it is a small or smaller type room use a light color it will make the room look bigger, The larger the room the darker you can go... also hang paint samples in the room for afew days in different light to make sure you don't regret the color later on....

Really you should stay away from the darker colors because they tend to make rooms feel smaller and are colder/depressing.

Questions that come up are what is the rest of the decor of the room? hardwood floors or carpet? What type of feeling do you want while in this room?

I would suggest earth tones. The hue would depend on the style of the furniture. Toupe should work. It has a greenish hue to it and goes with most anything.
Black and white go with anything. Just paint the room a bold shade of your favorite color.
maybe dark green or blue
