What is a good paint color for a small bedroom to make it look bigger and more open.?

Any light color should work. Also use mirrors, that will help a lot!

I've never tried it, but I've also heard if you paint the ceiling a shade lighter than the color on your walls it's supposed to help. What is a good paint color for a small bedroom to make it look bigger and more open.?
You want to paint it with a color that will reflect light and not absorb it. If the paint is to rich and dark then the color will soak up the light and make it feel like a cave. If the space is reflecting light then the mood is much more airy. Most paint samples have the light reflectance on it, you should be good with something around 80%-60% reflectance. What is a good paint color for a small bedroom to make it look bigger and more open.?
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';paperwhite'; (# 7105) might be a good choice.

You can take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
A buttery yellow with white trim will look cheerful and clean. Be sure it's a very very soft shade of yellow though. Sherwin Williams sells a line called Illumunescence which are very reflective. Another way to make a room appear bigger is to match the curtains as closely as possible to the wall color. This gives the walls a seamless, less choppy look. Don't put too much furniture in it either.
i would go with a light shade of yellow, blue, pink, aqua, lavender, or green. Use white bedding %26amp; white curtains and accessory item for light %26amp; airy feel. Eliminate clutter %26amp; any unnecessary furniture items. Also consider using smaller pieces in the room, smaller bed, nightstand etc.
I would do a light color like pear green, light aqua, or light blue. No reds, browns, etc. Also put a big mirror on the wall.
Thats the same question i need an answer to i hope you get some good ideas i can borrow :)
