Is red a good color to paint my house with its part red brick exterior?

My house has a red brick facing that runs about half way up to the roof. What would be good colors to paint the upper half?Is red a good color to paint my house with its part red brick exterior?
No! No red, no brown. White looks good with it, light beige or another light color. You can do small, slim areas of trim with red or brown with the white. Is red a good color to paint my house with its part red brick exterior?
Earth tones! A darker shade will enhance the the brick as a feature and a lighter shade will do the opposite. Is the brickwork finely done and deserves to be noticed or somewhat bland and should be muted? If you have a sample of the brick, bring it to your home center to have it color-matched in the paint department (if you don't, knock off a small corner in the back yard).

Your decision of the brick's worthiness to the architectural significance of your home is key. Good luck. Use similar colors, up or down.
I would use a gray, similar to the color of the mortar between the bricks to unify the parts. A darker gray would be a nice trim.
Anything but red. White with hunter green trim would go nice.
My house is red brick. you dont want red paint it will not look good. try an off white or biege or light brown.
