Any tips on what color to paint your room at the beach?

I think I'm movin to the beach and I'm gonna paint my room, gotta theme or a color idea?Any tips on what color to paint your room at the beach?
Lowe's has a line of colors called ';Seaside Retreat,'; it's a whole beach/water inspired palette.Any tips on what color to paint your room at the beach?
A mild pale turquoise and maybe a salmon color?
lilac
baby blue or a light pink
pale blue of course!
Pick all the colors you like and do stripes!
I think u should paint it light blue.
Try a light shade of yellow. It will bring out the color of the sky, sea and sand.
Think seaside.. go with like a very light blue and amilk whilte or a beige to set the mood. Check Dutchboy.com or Behr.com for ideas on what colors will go good together. Make the light blue you accent all and go form there. You can decorate with Beach decor and or Seashell Decor relatively inexpensively. You can even go around shooting some pohtos of your area, blow them and fram them for art. All in all keep it light and airy..
I think a sueded beigey-tan-buckskin color with an antique white ceiling. Have a beachie theme. Lots of bright colors, mexican blankets, purples, reds, blues, greens, yellows. bold colors. With terra cotta pots with portulacca in a sunny windows... BRIGHT purple ice plant...beach signs, fill a bottle with sea shells and a jar with sea glass. Make it fun and light hearted! It will be fun to wake up to! For curtains have the roll up fabric or jute from Cost Plus.......or just light and airy.......also at Cost plus. Lots of cool mexican glass and pottery! Have fun!
green is nice
How about a shade of blue, yellow,or green?
blue and green- but you don't have to do a beachy theme. go with whatever you feel
paint it like an underwater scene with vegitation and sea life
think pink...
slate grey with white trim
seashells could be your theme %26amp; you could paint your ceiling blue with clouds. Your walls could be get this ocean blue......
Paint it the color of a sandy beach - keep the background neutral, then bring your beachy colors in like a soft blue for a comforter, and several pillows in blue, green, pink, white, and turquoise.

Bring in lots of greenery and natural fabrics, like bamboo for window shades and cover those with wispy white sheers for movement in the breeze. Choose woven placemats for your nightstand and tables, and then get a big bowl, fill it with shells, and then nestle in some white pillar candles.

Ans there you have it - the perfect beachy themed room for not much money.
Typically, if your room faces the sun, keep the color range in the cool tones. Blues, greens, and some earthtones. Avoid pure white, black, and warm colors, yellow, orange, reds, and very light colors.

Facing away from the sun, warm and lighter tones are preferable.

Your room meaning your bedroom, I take it. Keep the theme simple, and relaxing. Try lots of pillows, of complimentary colors, or various shades of the same color.
If there are a lot of windows i woul do white trim with lime gree, bright yellow and sky blues

if there isn't a view of the beach from thatb room i would do blues and on a wall without a window paint a windw with a beautiful beach seen
pale blues, whitewashed wood, pale grey , or sand. then spark it up with something warm. like golden yellow or coral accents. the old newengland beach houses is my theme., or if its stucco, go for brilliant colors and find a paint technique that makes it look slightly peeling, with more than one color or white with it, like the bright colors of jamacia. brilliant turquoise , butter yellow, coral, jungle green, red, and royal blue.
