What is the best color to paint my bedroom?

*** I have dark green carpet and brown trim. Right now, my walls are this yellowish/tan color... and i don't like it. I can't think of a color that would go good with the green carpet?What is the best color to paint my bedroom?

an Ivory would be good, or maybe even a mocha? the trim you could paint out in a color as well... I have seen people use a burgundy paint on a couple walls or navy blue.. if you would want to go striking in colors... and more neutral on the other walls
You could try a tan that's not yellow-based or an off-white or cream. Since you have a dark carpet and dark trim you'll want to try a light color in order to keep the room bright.

How about a sage green or another shade of green. Green and brown seem to be ';in'; these days.

i would try to find a light color with a beige base so that everything will blend, however if you are painting the trim also, brighten it all up. find something the color of the carpet and go to a paint place and see what flows for you.
