What is the best color to paint my room for sleep and calming vibes?

You can go with the traditional light blues,greens or greyblues.With accents of stark whites for small asseccories and creamy whites for larger things like a comforter. If you want a more personal touch use a very light turquoise like an aquamarine color. In any case use fabrics that flow and look like they would blow away. Keep the furniture as low as you can so there is nothing to distract you. If you have electronics in your room hide them in an armoir or use a bookshelf with fabric on the front of it to conceal things until you need them.

Also find pictures that take you away when you look at them in pastels. And don't forget to hang a lush bathrobe to remind you to relax...you may want to put a basket by your bathroom door with thick towels in it and the old fashioned wooden spa brushes. When you look at it, it will help you relax. A water fountain that is small, go easy on candles they will soot your light walls [ use soy candles if you can no soot from them and they are healthier].

Also keep your furniture in a light color if you can.

Have fun and enjoy!What is the best color to paint my room for sleep and calming vibes?
a very light greenWhat is the best color to paint my room for sleep and calming vibes?
lavender...a very soothing color, or if that's too girly, grey/blue.
Neutral - Tan plus anything you put in the room will macth.
';in the United States, blue is considered to be a relaxing color';

';Tests reveal that the color blue lowers blood pressure, calms, and gives viewers a sense of security. Blue is also an appetite suppressant. Do you ever feel a desire to eat blue spaghetti?';
pastel colors
Navy or lilac is my guess.
its depends on what color it is now if its white leave it cause you will get better sleep. if it isnt white well you better start shopping for some white paint. good luck
anything that is a light color. most ppl say blue. i would pick a light blue for myself or a yellow!!
A green/grey color called Scotland Road is what I have on my bedroom walls--it's soothing--as my mate would say! :)
Well you can do what my sister did for my room which is very soothing for me is like an almost chameleon type color depending on the lighting I use. White with a very minimal hint of blue. Lighter than sky blue, but bluer than white. Almost like looking at the sky when its setting. When I walk in I just want to sleep and I can read a book. You can even try painting a koi pond on the wall. Also feng shui helps. Make sure your head is not at high traffic and against a sturdy wall, and don't put stuff under your bed or by your head. Open space helps too, don't cram stuff in your room. Try not having the bed the first thing seen when opening the door. If a window is directly aligned with the door try a crystal or windchime to slow down the chi. Red makes a place hot and active. Cool colors relax, but dark colors look gloomy. Light and cool open the space.
strangely enough orange is supposed to soothe children. my bedroom is butter yellow with a red ceiling... counds garish, but at night with lamplight, it's very peaceful and almost glows. for what it's worth...
periwinkle it's a cross between blue %26amp; purple
lavender
pink
Any cool colours (blue, green, purple) in pale tones. Warm colours (red, orange, espcially yellow), even in pale tones are exciting to the brain which does not lead to calming sleep.

Keep in mind that you can do a neutral such as beige or grey, just make sure that it's undertone is a cool colour. Find it's undertone by looking at the bottom of the strip of tones.
pale yellow shades are good,pale lavender shades,green shades,try to keep to light muted shades,no bright colours they will keep you awake,what about chocolate and cream,i have this in my living room and its very calming and relaxing.
