It's really personal preference, but an easy way to pick a paint color is to buy a bedspread or comforter that you love. Pick your favorite color from the bedspread and use it for your paint color. This is a fun one! I would love to help u with this! If you really want to make your room POP, I would suggest using really cool bright pastels like yellow and pink, or pink and green or pink and purple....sumthin liek that.

You could color block by painting two adjacent walls violet %26amp; two parakeet. Or you could paint them all parakeet with diagonal violet stripes. Or you could do a stencil:
