Im painting 3 walls of my room dark purple; idk what color to paint my 4th wall; i really want a bohemian look?

any suggestions?Im painting 3 walls of my room dark purple; idk what color to paint my 4th wall; i really want a bohemian look?
Hmm how many walls does this room have? I'd paint the wall with the oak wood, kind of an oak wood color and the rest of the walls would be the dark purple, assuming it has 4 walls--one with closet doors, and 3 with purple paint.Im painting 3 walls of my room dark purple; idk what color to paint my 4th wall; i really want a bohemian look?
Dark purple-

Seriously, unless you REALLY want to draw attention to the 4th wall, don't paint it a different color. dramatic color changes, especially on one wall will draw the eyes of everyone to that wall. If there is a focal point on the wall that you want to draw out( like a fireplace, artwork, bay window, etc) then you can do it, but otherwise that is a bad idea.

if you decide to do a different color, stick to browns/tans, or sage green type colors.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';mexican sand'; (# 7519) might be a great choice.

You can take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
Simple. I have been a professional remodeling painter and decorator for 35 years. For a Bohemian look, Purple goes great with green. Dark purple, light green, Light purple, Dark green.

Remember though, Try to choose the best color to accent your personal object as best you can.
I would consider a burnt orange color but no matter the color that you put on the 4th wall try and add that into the other walls. Either to the furniture on those walls or an accent trim to tie everything together.
i think purple and green like KTB said would be more like a ';zen'; or whatever you call it look. i think bohemian would be more like purple and orange with some fuschia....

its more inspired by colors from indian saris and stuff wich is also very boho
Gold. the paint will probably be expensive but it will look incredible and totally works with the feeling your trying to pull off.
A bright fuscia color would probably look good.
